The problem
A new café on historic Dauphin Street needed to feel like an occasion rather than another coffee stop.
And it needed to give its signature roast a reason to be bought by the bag, and poured at other bars.

The brand
Built around its namesake, Empress Joséphine, with a French salon's voice: gracious, unhurried, a little ceremony in every cup.
Deep teal, gold and blush sit on ivory. A Pinyon Script wordmark pairs with Cormorant Garamond and spaced Jost capitals.

The package design
Her portrait, rose in hand, appears on every bag. The Malmaison Roast takes its name from her famous rose garden.
We designed the whole-bean packaging and shot the product photography, so the bag sells the coffee before anyone tastes it.

The build
A seven-page website for the menu, the Malmaison Roast, Joséphine's story, wholesale, insights and contact.
Every page carries the salon's ceremony online, and the wholesale page gives cafés, bars and restaurants a direct path to pour the roast.

The result
The site is live at josephinescoffee.com, with a wholesale path for cafés, bars and restaurants across the Gulf Coast.
