The problem
Handymen, remodelers and small crews run their business on spreadsheets, sticky notes, text threads and a handful of apps that don't talk to each other.
The big field-service platforms are built, and priced, for 50-truck fleets. The two-to-ten person shop gets left with the homework.

The brand
A shim is the small wedge a carpenter slips under a door frame to bring it level. Nobody notices it, but without it nothing sits right.
The logo says it directly: a calendar with a shim on the page, under the line "Run it level." The voice is a sharp office manager who has spent time on job sites.
The small thing that keeps the whole job level.

The build
One app for the whole back office, with an AI morning brief that tells the owner what needs them today.
We designed the marketing site and the app: scheduling and crew availability, estimates that become jobs in one tap, a texting inbox that flags what needs an answer, subcontractor payouts, inspection reports and payroll.

Gloves on.
Sun out.
The crew app is designed for a phone in one hand on a job site, with the full job packet on a tablet in the truck.
- 01Large tap targets for gloved hands
- 02The main action within thumb reach
- 03Numbers are the biggest text on every card

The result
The app is built and early access is open to small shops on founding pricing.
